Springsteen announces Cleveland show

January 24, 2012 - Andy Gray
Rumors of some U.S. dates before Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band head to Europe in May have been swirling for weeks.

They were confirmed this morning with the announcement of a 19-show tour that includes an April 17 concert at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

The tour starts March 18, about two weeks after the release of Springsteen’s next album, “Wrecking Ball.” The first single, “We Take Care of Our Own,” was released last week. The album features 11 new Springsteen songs and was produced by Ron Aniello with Bruce Springsteen and executive producer Jon Landau. A special edition of “Wrecking Ball” also will be available and include two bonus tracks and exclusive artwork and photography.

There still has been no announcement on who will take Clarence Clemons' place in the E Street Band or if they will decide to tour without a saxophone player.

Tickets for the Cleveland show are $98, $62.50 and $42.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 28 through Live Nation and the Q’s ticket outlets.

hey concerned granny, have you priced any other performers ticket prices?? bruces FACE value ticket price are $42.50,$64.50,& $98,thats a far cry from the$150-250 charged by u-2,celine dion, stones, billy joel,etc.etc. the scalpers are responsible for the prices that you refer too,and you need to contact the f.c.c and complain of the monopoly that occurs when they buy up all the better seats and mark them up 500% on websites, such as live nation, tickets**** etc. bruce in comparison with ALL OTHER shows is a steal, you get 3+hrs. of non stop music for UNDER $100,other concerts ive attended i was lucky if the band played for more than 2 hrs. and those shows STARTED@ $100& UP! so you really need to do your WORKING CLASS HOMEWORK,in reguards to springsteens ticket prices being to high
