To: All Delphi Employees
On March 31, Delphi announced the foundation of its transformation plan and the elements necessary for the company to complete its restructuring process. The five areas of focus are:
• Labor contracts in the United States,
• GM relationship and contracts,
• Legacy pension and benefit obligations,
• Product portfolio and business lines,
• Sales, general & administrative (SG&A) costs across the company
While we continue to work on the first four listed issues, the divisional presidents and senior leadership have met over the past several months to examine our organizational design and SG&A costs. The overall focus is on aligning the company’s resources and strategies more appropriately to enable execution of our customer-focused future product portfolio.
