Unbelievable, I can't help but imagine he must have had medical problems undiagnosed. It seems like retirement is'nt an activity to create the necessary stress to trigger any cardiac infarction...

Retirement after working your whole life can trigger health issues. Retirement changes your daily routine and it can be a shock to your system. Now people who hate their jobs and their life will probably benefit from retirement.

sad,this is why folks need to retire at retirement age(58-65)and be able to at least enjoy some yrs of retirement if not 20 or more

It wasn't undiagnosed. It happened while he was undergoing angioplasty.
