Billdog, nothing is wrong with carrying around a loaded gun, IF you have a C.C.P. and AFTER YOU CHECK TO SEE WHETHER THE SAFETY IS ON. If he doesn't have a C.C.P. he should be in jail, simple as that.

ohcwby, what is the point of carrying a gun that isn't loaded? Are you going to ask somebody attempting to hurt you to wait while you chamber a bullet? If your that uneducated on guns, you better watch out for your local police officers that went to school for nine months three nights a week at the academy. All 100 hours of training in guns, driving, assertiveness, laws, etc... That sounds a little scary to me.

In addition to requiring background checks for all gun owners, they should be required to take a 40 hour course on gun safety before being able to buy a gun in the USA. This fool shot himself!
