Christi R. Novicki 1987-2008

ORWELL — Christi R. Novicki, 21, died Monday, May 5, 2008.

She was born Jan. 14, 1987, in Warren, the daughter of Alphonse Novicki and Catherine Gary.

She was a 2005 graduate of Bristol High School and TCTC. She was a historian for the FFA while attending TCTC. She loved to work with and groom animals.

Christi is survived by her father, Alphonse and Tina Novicki of Bristolville; mother, Catherine and Jeff Young of Orwell; two brothers, Dylan and Nathan Novicki, both of Bristolville; a sister and brother, Heather Medina and Jacob Young, both of Columbus; brother, Adam Young of Bloomfield; brother, Daniel Young of Erie, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Donna Gary of Warren; paternal grandmother, Ada Novicki of Bristolville; maternal step-grandmother, Clara Young of Lake City, Pa.; paternal step-grandfather, John E. Scott of Farmington; paternal step-grandmother, Rosalee Scott of Diamond; her fiance, Ted Wajda of Johnston; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, Alphonse Novicki Sr., James O. Gary II; and a step-grandfather, Bruce Young.

Friends may call 9:30 to 11 a.m. today at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Shirley Frantz will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
