Cara Russo and Sam Gatta were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held June 18, 2011, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Larry Frient.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
The bride is the daughter of Maureen and Anthony Russo of Howland. Parents of the groom are Charlotte and Dominic Gatta of Niles.

Courtney Russo LaHurd attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tessa Baragona, Heather Covert, Lauren Eddy, Chrissy Tedesco and Joanna Gatta. Cecelia Gatta was the flower girl.
Sharing the duties of best man for their brother were Vince and Dominic Gatta. Groomsmen included brother of the bride, Anthony Russo, along with Chris LaHurd, Mike Robertson, Louis Viglio, Matt Schimley, Steve Mientkiewicz, Jason Leibert and Joe Infante.
Cara Russo Gatta is a 2001 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. She obtained a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Mount Union College, along with a master's degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher for the Niles school district and is varsity women's soccer coach at John F. Kennedy High School.
Mr. Gatta is a 2001 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. He is an equipment operator and superintendent at his family-owned business, DSV Builders in Niles.
Following a honeymoon to San Diego, the couple resides in Niles.
