WARREN - Josephine M. "Jo" Leibert, 90, passed away at 4:05 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Josephine was born Nov. 19, 1921, in Warren, the daughter of Andre and Catherine Cavalier Sartorio.
Josephine attended St. Mary's School and was a graduate of Warren G Harding High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Warren and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. She was an avid golfer, bowler and was a great cook. Josephine enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Marilyn (David) Binko of Warren and Roland F. "Ron" (Janet) Leibert of Niles; five grandchildren, Bryan and Scott Binko, Brooke (Jeffery) DeJulia and Lauren and Jason Leibert; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Colbie DeJulia; two sisters, Antonetta "Toni" Brutz and Connie Myers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland L. "Hawk" Leibert, whom she married June 7, 1947, and passed away Feb. 22, 2007; a brother, Frank J. Sartorio; and four sisters, Lena Scopacasa, Victoria Cammarata, Bessie DiSario and Margie "Lolly" Digilio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating and preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, Warren. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery, Niles.
