TOGETHER AGAIN

He worked for U.S. Steel for 38 years. He was an avid sports fan who cheered for the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox and Penn State. He was a whiz with his sports statistics, and enjoying watching sporting events both on TV and in person.

Francis was a family man who would do just about anything for anyone who needed it. He enjoyed spending time with the family dogs, Rommel and Max. He was described as a very down-to-earth person who didn't need any frills to be happy in life - just a good game on the TV and being surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Marsha (Paul) LaPolla of McDonald; a grandson, Joshua LaPolla of McDonald; a sister, Mary (Sam) Zirafi of Girard; and will be sadly missed by other family members.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances S. Capella; and brothers, Joseph, John and Austin Capella.

Private services will be held for Francis. He was entombed next to his wife at Pineview Memorial Park.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
