NEWTON FALLS - Reginald S. ''Reggie'' Ginter, 86, entered into rest Monday, April 16, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
On March 16, 1926, in Hazelton, Pa., John and Florance Keen Ginter welcomed the birth of their son, Reggie.
He was a lifetime area resident and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Reggie was employed by Rockwell International as an inspector for 31 years, retiring from his duties in 1976.
In his spare time he enjoyed duck and goose hunting, gardening and reading. He was a member of VFW Post 3332, a life member of AmVets Post 112 and attended St. Mary and St. Joseph Church, all in Newton Falls.
Reggie and Mary Ann Prelac were united into marriage on Feb. 26, 1949, at St. Joseph Church in Newton Falls, and from this union they had four children.
Memories of Reggie will be carried on by his wife, Mary Ann; a son, David (Fran) Ginter of Howland; daughters, Regina Griffith and Suzanne (Tony) Sabo, both of Newton Falls; a brother, John Ginter of Buffalo, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Cynthia Durkos; and a grandson, Troy Ginter.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Borowski Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary and St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Thomas Ungashick officiating.
Military honors will be provided by the Newton Falls Veterans Organization.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3736 Boardman Canfield Road, P.O. Box 321, Canfield, OH 44406-0321.
