WARREN - Willie C. Caldwell Sr., 79, of 1887 Deerfield Ave. S.W., died at 10:42 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born March 4, 1933, in Alba, Ala., the son of General Grant and Versie Graham Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell retired as a hyster driver from Republic Steel Corp. and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Willie "Bee" Jr. and Nathan, both of Warren; two daughters, Christal Caldwell Murray of Long Beach, Calif., and Vickie Caldwell of Columbus; two sisters, Anna Laura Hawkins of Tampa, Fla., and Mardine Hale of Pensacola, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at Friendship Baptist Church, where calling hours will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
Family will also receive friends at the home of Annie Caldwell, 1662 Jackson St.
Arrangements are being handled by Sibley-Murray-Wellington Funeral Home.
