WARREN - June W. Wachter, 84, of Highlawn Avenue, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Wachter was born Sept. 23, 1927, in Windham, the daughter of John and Lucille Demars Decker.
A member of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church, she was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, baking, gardening and treasured time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Albert William Wachter, whom she married Dec. 13, 1947, preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2007. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, an infant sister, Jeanette, Elsie Martin, Harriet Swisher and Virginia Stavenger; and a brother, Duane Decker.
June is survived by three children, Sherry Ann Patterson of Niles, A. Wachter of Warren, and Tammy J. (William) Viga of Niles; two brothers, Max and Roland Decker, both of Southington; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home, 614 Warren Ave., Niles, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. John Wiseman officiating.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
