LORDSTOWN - Gerald A. Horvath, 65, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, peacefully at home and with his family by his side.
He was born May 9, 1947, in Warren, the son of Andrew J. and Mary Plevak Horvath Jr.
Jerry married Mary Meleanos on Oct. 11, 1975.

He was a veteran of the U.S Air Force, having served in Vietnam, and was a welder for Peerless Winsmith for 39 years.
Jerry enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing and working around the yard. His real love was his family and Walt, his buddy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Lordstown; son, Rodney (Monica) Brown of Warren; daughters, Josephine Robin Zell of Leavittsburg and Candi (Edwin "Bud") Maus of Manhattan, Kan; brother, Ronald Horvath of Warren; and grandchildren, John Zell, Britney and Derek Brown, Buddy, Easton and Melina Maus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Andrew Horvath; and his beloved dog, Tundra.
Per Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
