MIDDLEBOURNE, W.Va. - Robert Allen Koncsol, 71, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Sistersville, W.Va.
He was born Oct. 20, 1940, in Little Sancho, W.Va., the son of Andrew Sr. and Helen Catherine Long Konsol.
Robert retired from the Ritchie County, W.Va., school system as a teacher and was a member of the Burt Church of Christ in Little Sancho, W.Va.

Survivors include his mother, Helen, and two brothers, Garry of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Andrew Jr. of Niles.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Furbee Funeral Home in Middlebourne, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Inurnment will be at Mount Pleasant's Long Cemetery, Wick, W.Va.
