BENEFIT TO HELP MAN FIGHT CANCER: A cancer benefit to help Todd Herron will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds, 899 Everett Hull Road, Cortland, and include arts and crafts, 50-50, door prizes, silent auction, bake sale, a bluegrass and gospel show and the Stockdale Family Band from 1 to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 ages 13 to 17, with all proceeds to help Herron with his medical expenses.
MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS WALK SET: The 21st annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Wick Recreational Area, Mill Creek Park. The walk is a four-mile course through the park.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY HOLDS BASKET EVENT: The North Bloomfield Historical Society will host a basket making event from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the town hall at intersection of state Routes 45 and 87. Participants will make a walnut-colored basket with handle.
