WARREN - Thomas D. Carter, 80, entered into rest on Sept. 19, 2012, at his residence surrounded by family.
Thomas was born the son of Charles and Margaret Fisher Carter on Sept. 3, 1932, in Hazleton, Pa., and was a graduate of Hazleton High School.
He was retired from Packard Electric in 1988 as a master board builder after 30 years of service. Thomas also had served his country faithfully in the United States Navy.

On Sept. 7, 1957, Thomas was united into marriage with the former Darlene Foy and had shared 55 years together.
His memories will be remembered and celebrated by those he leaves behind, his loving wife, Darlene Carter; his daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Mark Stanton; grandchildren, Zak and Taylor Stanton; his son, Thomas N. Carter; grandchildren, Thomas, Bethany, Meagan and Matt Carter; and his son, Douglas M. Carter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dean S. Carter; one brother; and one sister.
Private family services will be held at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren. There will be no visitation.
