OPERATION CLEANUP DAY: An Operation Community Cleanup Day will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Interfaith Community Center playground, state Route 169. Volunteers are needed to help cut grass, trim weeds, paint, pick up trash, lay mulch and other tasks. Those who can help are asked to bring push mowers, wheelbarrows and chainsaws. CENTER TO HOLD ILLUSION PROGRAM: The OH WOW! Children's Center for Science & Technology Youngstown, 11 W. Federal St., Youngstown, will hold optical illusion programs from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. today and Thursday.
GRANDPARENTS PROGRAM OFFERED: The Warren SCOPE Center, 220 W. Market St., is offering a free monthly grandparents support group beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The support group will provide the opportunity for grandparents 60 and older to network with others having the same responsibilities. The group will also have guest speakers.
