WARREN - Ruth M. Ricci, 86, of Warren, died at 5:55 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Community Skilled Health Care Center.
She was born Oct. 28, 1925, in Cumberland, Md., the daughter of the late Paul and Bessie Troxell Chaney.
Mrs. Ricci was a homemaker and also worked in the engineering department at Packard Electric for 30 years, retiring in 1987.

Ruth loved to read, crochet and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Sandy (Dave) Szymkowiak of Toledo, Karen (Russell) Banks of Champion and Loretta Ricci of Roanoke, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Douglas Szymkowiak, Mark (Laurie) Szymkowiak, Jennifer (Jon) Sherman, Michael Bloom, Chelsea, Sarah, Elizabeth and Russell Banks, Eric (Kelly Drass) Murray and Michelle (Thomas) Theus; eight great-grandchildren; and her two sisters, Dorothy Horvath of Lancaster, Calif., and Helen Rossi of Warren.
Other than her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Ricci, on Jan. 31, 1982, three brothers and three sisters.
A prayer service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m.
Burial will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
