Donna A. Sines 1958-2012

BRISTOLVILLE - Donna Arlene Sines, 53, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a brief illness and with her family by her side.

She was born Oct. 16, 1958, in Warren, the daughter of James L. and Helen F. Hurst Johnson.

Donna had attended Maplewood schools and was a member of Glenn Christian Foundation Church in Warren. She worked at Johnson Rubber for 30 years, where she was a press operator and inspector. Most recently she worked at Great Lakes Cheese in Hiram as a line attendant. Donna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, organizing family events, crocheting, swimming, biking, traveling with her husband on their motorcycle, sitting by campfires, baking and helping anyone who needed assistance.

On Nov. 20, 1974, she married Gary Dan Sines, who survives.

Donna is also survived by her parents, James and Helen Johnson of Champion; a daughter, Stacey (Michael) Jones of Chagrin Falls; a son, Paul (Teri) Sines of Bristolville; three grandchildren, Alayna Sines of Bristolville, Madison Jones and Tyler Jones, both of Chagrin Falls; her grandmother, Edith Johnson of Bristolville; three siblings, James (Laurie) Johnson of Warren, Tina (Roger) Hammack of Struthers and Dale (Sonya) Johnson of Champion. Donna also has numerous nieces and nephews with whom she enjoyed spending time.

Donna was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Johnson; a brother, Mark Johnson; and grandparents, Ronald and Madeline Nobbs and Pearl Johnson.

Donna will be missed by everyone who knew her.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Sprague officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristolville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at the Glenn Christian Foundation Church, 5540 Parkman Road, Warren OH 44481.
