WEATHERSFIELD - Police here are seeking information following an attempted child abduction from Thursday.
According to police, about 2:45 p.m., a man tried to entice a child in a van in the 1300 block of Depot Street.
The suspect was described as a bald, white man, 30 to 40 years old and unshaven. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off. The man also had tattoos on his arms that appeared to be wings, either of a dragon or the Harley-Davidson logo.
The vehicle was an older model white cargo van with rust on the driver's side door.
