NILES An Amber Alert was issued about midnight for Michael Babuka Jr., 3, of Niles, who was in a car that was stolen about 11 p.m. from 512 John St., Niles.
The boy was described as white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing about 2 foot tall and weighing about 35 pounds. He was wearing Buzz Lightyear pajamas and shoes, and a camo jacket. He had a Mohawk haircut, according to reports.
The car was described as a silver, four-door 2007 Chevy Impala in bad condition, with tinted windows and duct tape on the bumper. The Ohio license plate was listed as FEA 2745
Police said they were doing a car-by-car and door-to-door search in case the car thieves realized a child was in the car and decided to dump the vehicle.
