WARREN - James P. Vaughn Jr., 65, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at St. Joseph Health Center.
He was born March 10, 1947, in Cleveland, a son of the late James P. and Elizabeth Helen Fath Vaughn.
He was a graduate of Champion High School, and was employed as a technician at Packard Electric, from where he retired in 1999.

He served with the Ohio National Guard, and was an officer with the Champion Police Department in the 1980s. James was also a member of VFW Post 1090 in Warren.
He was a lifelong Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan.
James is survived by a daughter, Heather (Kevin) Brown of Warren; two sons, Brian (Shaina) Vaughn of Sarasota, Fla., and Jason (fiancee, Roxanne) Vaughn of Champion. Also surviving are five granddaughters, Riley, Baylee, Madyson, Haley and Hannah; and a grandson on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
