WARREN - A 3-year-old Warren boy is listed in serious condition at Akron Children's Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening.
Marcus A. Chaney Jr., 1000 Commerce N.W., reportedly was playing outside with other children about 7:30 p.m. when he crossed the street and was struck by the passing vehicle.
The driver of the SUV, Shaquille D. Chatmon, 18, of Kensington N.W., has not been charged with any offense.
A spokeswoman for Akron Children's said Chaney suffered a head wound.
