SHREVEPORT, La. - John A. Kozar, 53, formerly of Hubbard, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at his home in Shreveport.
He was born Jan. 3, 1959, in Youngstown, the son of Stephen G. and Katherine M. Pretko Kozar.
Mr. Kozar was of the Catholic faith and had worked for Holms Honda in Shreveport.
He leaves his wife, Patty A. Blamey Koza; a son, PFC Michael C. Kozar of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a daughter, Ashley M. Kozar of O'Fallon, Ill.; and two brothers, Robert J. Kozar of Hubbard and Stephen G. Kozar of Arvada, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Church, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
