NILES - Mary Louise Kover, 92, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Hospice House in Poland.

Mary was born March 13, 1920, in Niles, the daughter of Frank and Philomena DiBernardi Jeswald. On Feb. 14, 1945, she married Henry Kover, with whom she spent 46 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 1991.

Mary had attended Niles-McKinley before going on to work as a cook for Rudy's Restaurant and later SCOPE in Warren, where she retired from in 1992.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life often crocheting or doing crosswords, and was also very fond of playing bingo. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Henry (Patty) Kover of Niles, Harold (Sandy) Kover of Mineral Ridge, Valerie (Charles) Wright of Niles, Cynthia (Glenn) Ford, whom she lived with in Niles, Mary Beth (Gary) Turner of Akron and her stepson, Thomas (Joanna) Kover of Long Beach, Calif. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Kover; her sisters, Flanda Benigno and Sylvia Battagline; her brothers, Don Jeswald and Sam Jeswald; her stepdaughter, Shirley Jeswald; and her great-grandson, Lucas Marotti.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's name to Hospice House. Arrangements were handled by Selby Funeral Home.
