PROGRAM TO DISCUSS HUMAN TRAFFICKING: National Human Trafficking Awareness Day will be marked Friday with a program at 6:30 p.m. at the Mahoning Valley Hope Center, Surrey Road, Warren. The program will include guest speakers, discussion on what people can do to help and a 90-minute movie on human trafficking in Ohio at 7 p.m.
PARTY FOR CLIFFORD: The McKinley Memorial Library, 40 N. Main St., Niles, will hold Clifford's birthday party at 11 a.m. Saturday in the auditorium. This is the 50th year for the cartoon character.

PROGRAM OFFERED ON FINANCIAL MATTERS: The Ohio State University Extension in Ashtabula County will be kicking off 2013 with a workshop, titled "Getting your Financial Affairs in Order" at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Trumbull County Extension office, 520 W. Main St., Cortland.
David Marrison, OSU extension educator, will be the featured speaker and help participants learn how to get a grasp on their financial situation by learning how to develop a year-end balance sheet. SEMINAR SET ON GAMBLING: A problem gambling training series will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday on "Foundations in Disordered Gambling;" and Feb. 7 and 8 on "Treating the Disordered Gambler," both at the Wean Foundation, 147 W.
