WARREN - Margaret M. "Magg" Franks, 91, died at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1921, in McKeesport, Pa., the daughter of the late Samuel and Agnes Bentley Toal.
Magg was a graduate of McKeesport High School and was a homemaker. Some of her hobbies were reading, playing ball with her grandchildren, playing cards, cooking and baking, but her greatest joy and "hobby" was taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cheryl (Edward) Beavers of Cortland and Denise (Richard) Hivick of Johnston; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Bradley) MacGregor, Jaclyn Beavers, Jessica (Jesse) Crawford, Melissa (Ryan) Pappas, Marla (Joseph) Pease, Brian Hivick and Traci Franks; and five great-grandchildren, Ava, Logan, Alivia, Gavin and Grayson.
Other than her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Franks Sr., on Feb. 14, 2005, and they were united in marriage Jan. 21, 1946; her siblings, Walter Toal, Albert Toal and Dorothy Stevens; and her son, Joseph D. Franks Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Franks will be buried next to her husband in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Township.
