Helen M. Booth, 1916-2013

NILES - Helen M. Booth, 96, formerly of Lincoln Avenue, passed away at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Home.

Helen was born Nov. 17, 1916, in Alliance, the daughter of Phillip T. and Elizabeth Totten DeBow.

She attended the Niles City Schools and was a member of the Niles First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for more than 50 years and a member of the Ada Class.

Helen was also a member of the Niles Chapter 113 Women of the Moose, and enjoyed card playing, painting, ceramics and crafts.

Survivors include her daughters, Marlene (Harold) Luscombe of Vienna, Donna Heavilin of Medina and Linda (Dan) Frisby of Marysville; her sons, Raymond W. (Ann) Dyling of Niles, John T. "Jack" Dyling of Henderson, Nev., and Charles "Rick" (Diane) Walters of Austintown; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond D. Dyling, Charles "Chap" Walters and Robert R. Booth; an infant daughter, Carol Dyling; a granddaughter, Sabina Dyling; and two brothers, Harold and Edward DeBow.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Cynthia Klingemier officiating at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial and committal services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Niles City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to The First Christian Church, 33 N. Arlington Ave., Niles, OH 44446-1179.
