Sylvia R. Kabinier 1921-2013

CHAMPION - Sylvia R. Razzano Kabinier, 91, died at 12:13 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in UPMC in Greenville, Pa.

She was born Nov. 20, 1921, in Mellazanno, Italy, the daughter of Arcangelo Michael and Angela Teresa Zarralli Razzano

Sylvia was a graduate of Champion High School. She had worked as a clerk at SS Kresge's, TMH Dietary Department and in the cafeteria at Champion High School.

Sylvia was a member of Blue Star Mothers of Champion, president of Tops Club and SS. Peter and Paul Church. She enjoyed flea markets and traveling.

She is survived by her five children, Carolyn (William) Walleryzak of Hubbard, Dennis M. Kabinier of Warren, Charles R. "Randy" (Martha) Kabinier of Alexandria, Va., Gregory L. Kabinier of Howland and Regina (Alan) Clark of Lakeland, Fla. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Cook of Cleveland, and numerous nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Kabinier, who died Feb. 24, 2004; and four brothers, Mario, Anthony "Tony" and twins Peter A. and Paul R. Razzano.

Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Church with the Rev. Kevin Marks officiating.

Burial will be in Champion Township Cemetery.
