YOUNGSTOWN - Howard F. Beye, 97, died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Austinwoods Manor in Youngstown following a brief illness.
Howard was born Aug. 11, 1915, in Youngstown, the son of Ernest E. and Bertha C. Keich Beye.
He was the owner of the South Dale Sales and Service in Youngstown.

Howard was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Foss of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Karen Bates of Youngstown and Valerie Urmetz of Monroe, Ga.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Dobbs Beye.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Youngstown, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
