WARREN - Tillie A. Bayus, 88, died at 3:55 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Cortland Health Care Center, Cortland.
She was born Dec. 7, 1924, in Niles, the daughter of the late Nick and Mary Albu Brown.
Tillie attended Central High School and also St. Pius X Church.

Bayus
Mrs. Bayus retired after 38 years of service in 1985 from GE Ohio Lamp. She was in the silvering department and also Par 38.
Mrs. Bayus enjoyed crocheting and visiting her daughter in Florida.
Survivors include her two children, Kathy (Bill) Brown of Fort Myers, Fla., and George (Andrea) Bayus of Warren; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Tillie was preceded in death by her husband, George Bayus Jr. on May 5, 1993 - they were united in marriage on June 2, 1946; her daughter, Patty A. Snell, on Nov. 4, 2009; and her brother, Albert Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Rev. Christopher Henyk will celebrate Tillie's life. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
