NEWTON FALLS - Eva V. Tancos, 97, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Laurie Ann Nursing Home.
She was born April 18, 1915, in Elkorn, W.Va., the daughter of John and Julia Yavelak Andriko.
She was a member of Newton Falls First Congregational Church and a homemaker.

Memories of Eva will be carried on by her sister, Susan Jones of Cortland.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steven Tancos; one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Tancos, five brothers, four sisters, and her first husband, John Maimone.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Newton Falls First Congregational Church with calling hours one hour prior to service time.
Burial will be in Newton Falls Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the James Funeral Home, Newton Falls.
