LIBERTY -- All lanes of Interstate 80 have been reopened after a fire in a tanker truck carrying cooking oil.
The truck caught fire about 7:45 p.m. near the weigh station between the Hubbard and Belmont Avenue exits on I-80, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Both westbound lanes were closed while firefighters from various area departments responded. The fire was doused with foam.
A blown tire caused friction which ignited the blaze, according to officials.
No injuries were reported.
