LIMA Gov. John Kasich's speech ``glossed over some significant problems with Ohio's economic recovery,'' Ohio AFL-CIO President Tim Burga announced in a written statement.
Burga said a 6.7 percent unemployment rate is unacceptably high.
He blamed layoffs in the public sector triggered by ``Kasich's misguided spending priorities.'' Burga added that the next budget, as proposed, would lead to more job loss in public education and local governments.
Burga praised Kasich for expanding Medicaid.
