YOUNGSTOWN - Two people are in custody after police tried to pull over a car on the Madison Avenue Expressway about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday that led officers on chase through the Sharon Line area of the East Side.
Chianna Sharpe, 23, of Columbus, was taken into custody on a warrant, and Richard Ditosto, 20, of Edgar Street, faces charges of resisting arrest, failure to comply and fleeing and eluding after he jumped out of his car at Cantwell and Crafton avenues.
A police dog had to take Ditosto to the ground after he jumped out of his car because he would not obey orders to stop running. Both Sharpe and Ditosto are in the Mahoning County Jail and expected to be arraigned Friday in Municipal Court.
