WARREN - A Common Pleas Court jury is expected to start deliberations Friday in the case of a 29-year-old Warren man who is accused of repeatedly molesting a 10-year-old boy he was babysitting.
James M. Plevyak of Idylwild Street faces four counts of gross sexual imposition that each have maximum penalties of five years behind bars.
Plevyak is already a convicted sex offender, according to a Trumbull Sheriffs Office website. As a Tier II sex offender convicted of a pornography-related charge in the U.S. Navy, Plevyak is required to register with authorities twice a year for 25 years.
He faces up to five years on any of four charges of gross sexual imposition and up to 18 months on the fourth-degree felony charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
