NEW MIDDLETOWN - Eleanor Manda Sipe, 85, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Ivy Woods Manor in North Lima.
Eleanor was born April 29, 1927, in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Ella Krell.
She was a manicurist at Ralph and Friends in Boardman and retired in the 1980s. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, grandkids and other loved ones. She loved to shop and was always on the lookout for interesting clothing and was a sharp dresser. She also loved to spend her winters in Florida.

Eleanor is survived by her husband, Lawrence Sipe, whom she married Oct. 14, 1961; a son, Michael "Mick" (Rina) Manda of Niles; her stepson, Gary (Kitty) Sipe of Boardman; a stepdaughter, Janet (Jeff) Dyer of New Middletown; a niece, whom she raised, Lynnette (Wallace) Swanson of Boardman, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Manda; and a grandson, Michael Manda III.
Friends may call at Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
