PALMETTO, Fla. - Ralph F. Donofrio, 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice in Palmetto.
He was born Dec. 5, 1929, in Cleveland, the son of Peter and Catherine Coccaro Donofrio.
Mr. Donofrio served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. Edward Church.
Ralph was a fireman for Liberty Fire Department.
He is survived by a son, Randy Donofrio of Palmetto; a brother, Thomas A. Donofrio of Youngstown; a sister, Jean Carol Toti of Roanoke, Va.; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
His wife, Angie M. Giampetro Donofrio, preceded him in death.
Private funeral services have been held. Burial was in Belmont Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
