WARREN - Claude E. Holbrook, 68, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Claude was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Warren, the son of Atlie and Mildred Thompson Holbrook.
He worked for the General Electric Plant in Niles and was of the Christian faith.

He had served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict.
He is survived by his mother of Niles; three sons, Claude E. Holbrook Jr. of Mineral Ridge and Brian Holbrook and Charles Holbrook, both of Niles; a daughter, Tara Lynn Holbrook of Illinois; a sister, Betty J. Stuard of Niles; and brothers, William T. Holbrook of Morehead, Ky., Dallas F. Holbrook of Warren, Sherman L. Holbrook of Howland and David A. Holbrook of Niles.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Memorial services will be Monday at Niles First Church of God.
Burial will be in Niles Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
