YOUNGSTOWN - The Covelli Centre turned its largest profit in its seven year history in 2012.
The arena reported a profit of $320,787 for 2012, Eric Ryan, who manages the arena for the city, wrote to Mayor Charles Sammarone and City Council last week.
In a letter released today, Ryan said the arena hosted 94 events in 2012 with almost 200,000 people attending events there.
The arena first opened in 2005.
