NILES - Mike Haley, 96, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Hospice House.
He was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Orient, Pa., the son of Andrew Hlywiak and Kathryn Olexen.
Mike retired from Republic Steel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II in the 82nd Airborne Division.
Mike was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Haley of Niles and Elizabeth Haley of Boca Raton, Fla.; a son, Philip of Hopewell, Va.; and a sister, Millie Pacurian of Montana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Paulick, three brothers and four sisters.
Private services were held Wednesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Interment was in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
