NEWTON FALLS - Robert E. McMasters, 80, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Northside Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Youngstown, the son of Russell and Eleanor Black McMasters.
Bob was a U.S. Army Korean War-era veteran and co-owner of the Leaf and Stem Plant Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Phillips McMasters of Newton Falls; three sons, Robert Jr. of New Castle, Pa., Phillip and Jeff, both of Newton Falls; a daughter, Dianne McMasters Gonzalez of Campbell; a brother, Paul McMasters of Missouri; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 1 p.m. services at the Pricetown United Methodist Church. Newton Falls Veterans Organization will honor Robert for his service.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hermitage, Pa.
Arrangements were handled by the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
