BRACEVILLE -- A stabbing was reported about 12:40 this morning in a mobile home park in Braceville.
Police and ambulance squads were called to 136 Westgate Drive in the Arhaven Estates off Warren Ravenna Road. Initial reports were of at least one victim and possibly two lying behind a home in the park.
A 911 supervisor confirmed that the call was for a stabbing but said other details were unavailable.
Police took a suspect into custody about 1:10 a.m. after a short search of the perimeter. A police dog also was called for the search. Initial reports were that the suspect was hiding "a couple trailers down" from the stabbing.
Police remained on the scene this morning. Details of conditions of the victim or victims, and the identity of the suspect were unavailable at press time.
