YOUNGSTOWN - A Logan Avenue man was found shot in the leg early this morning at a 2630 Tyrell Ave. apartment on the West Side.
Police were called to the apartment about 1:50 a.m. and found 24-year-old Albert Coffer inside bleeding from a gunshot wound to his leg.
Coffer told police he did not see who shot him. A man inside the apartment said he heard a gunshot outside but did not know where exactly.
Reports state officers found powder burns on Coffer's pants and a cell phone in his pocket was shattered by a bullet. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.
