Thu. 5:10pm: Fair housing concerns discussed

WARREN - About 60 locals and various city and business officials turned out for a public forum on fair housing held by NEOSCC this afternoon.

The meeting featured a presentation by Robert Gaudin, director of Research and Planning at Western Economic Services, that released various preliminary statistics on housing in northeast Ohio. The findings will be used to help create more vibrant, resilient and sustainable communities.

The Northeast Ohio Sustainable Communities Consortium was established in January 2011 to manage a three-year planning to improve 12 counties in northeast Ohio through a $4.25 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
