WEATHERSFIELD - Donald A. Keener Sr., 59, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born July 9, 1953, the son of Rancel and Naomi Keener
Donald was retired from Adesa Auto Auction.
Don is survived by his wife, Marcia Cornwell Keener; a daughter, Leslie Keener of Warren; a son, Donald Keener of Warren; a grandson; two granddaughters; two stepgrandsons; a sister, Sharon Edwards of Florida; and brother, Lloyd Keener of Mount Vernon.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Family and friends may attend a memorial service on Wednesday at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home, Niles, beginning at 2 p.m.
