The company is owned by David N. Hughes.

Gov. John Kasich will be the guest speaker at the luncheon at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.

Specialty Fab was founded in Leetonia 19 years ago and moved to North Lima nine-and-a-half years ago, according to Hughes.

The company, which employs 38 people and serves local industry, is located at 11950 South Avenue.

The "William G. Lyden Jr. Spirit Of The Valley Award" will also be presented to Sam Covelli, Owner/Operator, Covelli Enterprises during the luncheon.

The chamber's "Chairman's Political Achievement Award" will also be presented to Youngstown Mayor Charles Sammarone.

Specialty Fab Inc. operates from a 50,000 square-foot facility and provides precision fabrication, prompt delivery, free quotes, certified welders and "friendly service." Its website says inspectors are welcome and Hughes (CWI) is an AWS Certified Weld Inspector and also holds an AISC Certification 2002 (American Institute of Steel Construction).

Dearing Compressor and Hunter Lift are just two of Specialty Fab's local customers and the company is involved with the Mahoning Valley Career Technical Center and the Columbiana County Career Center.

Hughes said that involvement helped earn him the "Donald Cagigas Spirit Of The Chamber Award."
