WARREN - Marjorie M. Potts, 91, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born April 28, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Mich., the daughter of the late Frank and Edna Allen Spencer.
She married Joseph Potts on Sept. 15, 1947.
She was a graduate of Central High School in Kalamazoo, Mich., and was employed with Trumbull Memorial for 13 years and formerly with St. Joseph Hospital.
Marjorie was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the chancel choir of the church and served on various committees. She was a member of SCOPE, National Secretaries Association and she enjoyed writing Christian poetry and reading.
Loving memories of Marjorie will be carried on by her daughter, Sandra Balas of Warren; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Potts, who passed away June 28, 2012; sister, Elfreda West; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Rev. Kenneth Kubichek will officiate. Friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren.
