GREENVILLE, Pa. - Mark T. Hoeck, 57, 28 Werner Road, died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Youngstown, the son of Richard T. and Shirley Amon Hoeck.
He was self-employed since 1974, building street rods from the ground up. He did all the auto body work and painting. His cars were featured all over the world and in several publications.
He also had worked out of Austintown and Niles and had a business making leather goods.
He loved his bullmastiff, Buster, and his red husky, Big Red. Mr. Hoeck was an accomplished cook and enjoyed making fishing lures.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Amon Hoeck Galus of Greenville; a sister, Sandra Rogers of Seattle; and a brother, Eric Hoeck of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard T. Hoeck; and a sister, Shirley Martin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Randall Funeral Home, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown, Pa.
