FOWLER - Inez K. Gosnell, 87, died at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at Cortland Health Care Center.
She was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Kennard, Pa., the daughter of the late Clinton and Minnie Ray Kostenbader.
Mrs. Gosnell was a 1942 graduate of Penn High School in Greenville, Pa., and Duff's Iron City College in Pittsburgh.
She married John W. Gosnell in 1953, who preceded her in death in March 1996.
Mrs. Gosnell was a member of Fowler United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women and as a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Inez is survived by her children, George (Debbie) Gosnell, Michael (Ruth) Gosnell, Dale (Debbie) Gosnell, Linda (John) Talkington and Judith (Roy) Lamb; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Inez was preceded in death by two sons, John A. and Daniel J.; one stepson, Charles Gosnell; and two sisters, Mary K. Gosnell and Betty J. Meeker.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Fowler United Methodist Church, where the Rev. Daniel Wilson will celebrate Inez's life.
Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland, and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Mrs. Gosnell will be laid to rest next to her husband in Dugan Cemetery.
