WARREN - Michael G. "Mike" Quinlan, 60, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at his residence.
Mike was born Nov. 29, 1952, in Warren, the son of Bernard and Bernadine Quinlan.
He was a 1970 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. For the last seven years, he was the co-owner with his wife of Quinlan's Irish Eatery and Pub on U.S. Route 422. He formerly owned and operated Trumbull Special Courier Service for 25 years.

Mike was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Sean McBride Chapter. He was a former board member of Children's Rehabilitation Center, involved in Mobile Meals and co-founder with his wife of Rose & Thistle Irish Band. He also was the organizer of Quinlan's St. Patrick Day 5K race for the Children's Rehabilitation Center.
Mike was an avid Notre Dame fan. He also was a charismatic, generous and witty person. On Sept. 11, Mike lived his last "one day at a time" as a friend of Bill W.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Quinlan; two children, Kevin Quinlan, a student at Lake College, and Anna Quinlan, a student at Walsh University; and a sister, Kathleen (Frank) Harmon of Spring Lake, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel Quinlan; and a sister, Mary Annette Hoatlin.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl Kish officiating.
